How can you make icing without powdered sugar?

You can use regular erythritol for the frosting. To do this you have to chop up the sugar substitute (unless you like it crunchy :)). A stand mixer is best suited for this. The second ingredient we need is lemon juice. We prepare our lemon icing without sugar with 1/4 cup lemon juice and 1/2 cup erythritol. The best thing is that you don’t even have to heat the erythritol icing, just stir it together.

When can I apply the icing?

You can apply the icing after the cake has baked and cooled. After mixing the icing, you should let it stand for 1 minute so that it is a little firmer. This makes it easier for you to spread the icing on the cake. Since we use a lot of lemon juice, the frosting is particularly suitable for lemon cakes!
